At Ski Butternut, unlike other mountains, snowboards and shaped skis all rent for the same price every day. We don't charge a premium for snowboards, or for using equipment on a weekend or holiday. Download Rental form for unaccompanied Children - The link at the bottom of the page is provided for children who will be coming to the mountain without a parent or guardian! The form provides their parent a document that they can print off, fill in all the forms fields and all other requested information, and most importantly SIGN the liability release on the form. In this manner your child (when not being accompanied by a parent or guardian) will be able to receive their rentals in your absence. This is especially important for large group trips, school groups, or for youth group outings like; Boy or Girl Scout Troop ski days.
The form SHOULD NOT BE USED by anyone who will have a parent or guardian with them when they get to the area, as it will not save you time and it duplicates your efforts!
Everyone using this form will still need to fill in the usual 3-part rental form that is provided in the Rental Building at the mountain. This form only allows us to secure the necessary parental consent to issue a child rental equipment.
