Ski & Board Shop Fall Sale & Used Clothing & Equipment CONSIGNMENT SALE.

Come see what the Ski & Board Shop has on SALE, as well as bring the items your kids or family has outgrown for sale, or look through what is available in our Used Clothing & Equipment SALE.

Guests are encouraged to bring their GENTLY USED: Skis, Snowboards, Boots, Bindings, Poles, Helmets, Race Suits, Winter Clothing & other appropriate gear or accessories to offer for SALE at bargain prices. Always a popular event especially for families with sprouting kids. 
 

Used Equipment, Clothing & Gear SALE: 

SALE runs: Saturday, Sunday & Monday Oct. 7, 8 & 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

DROP OFF TIMES TO INCLUDE ITEMS IN THE CONSIGNMENT SALE:

Friday Oct. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. or
Saturday Oct 7 from 10 a.m. to noon.

WHAT DO WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BRING?

Current (not more than 5-6 years old): Skis, Snowboards, Boots, Helmets, Race Protective Gear, Poles, Sweaters, Jackets, Pants, Kids outfits (good condition only)...

NEED HELP PRICING YOUR GEAR?

Let our experienced staff help - They have been doing this for years. They know what sells, and at what price it should be marked. Please understand this is a 3-day SALE and we want your item to move.  An item that sells benefits us both, so it is important to price it right. 

TAGGING: All items get tagged and you'll get a tag claim number so we both know what items you brought in. Be prepared to fill in a tag for each item you bring to the Used Equipment & Clothing Sale.

WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ITEM DOESN'T SELL?

You need to pickup any unsold items on Monday Oct. 9th by 4 p.m. If you do not pick an item up, it will be donated to charity. Please remember to bring your sales tags to check which items sold and which didn't.

WILL WE ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS FOR THE USED EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING SALE:

No we do not accept CC at the Used Equipment & Clothing Sale. We ask that you pay by CHECK or Cash. If all you have is a Credit Card we won't turn you away - we have an ATM nearby that you can use your CC to get cash.

HOW MUCH WILL YOU GET WHEN YOUR ITEM(s) SELLS:

You get 80% of the sale price. 20% of the sale price goes to the Ski Butternut Adaptive Sports Foundation as this is their fundraising event. Some generous guests choose to make additional donations, while others bring in their items and tell our staff to donate anything they can get for the items to help the cause. 
Any additional donations over and above the 20% that is deducted from the sale price are enthusiastically accepted.

WHAT ELSE CAN ONE DO WHILE HERE:

Scenic Fall Foliage Lift Rides on Sat. & Sun. Oct. 7-8 & 14-15 take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Oct 8th there will also be an Antique Firetrucks and Apparatus show with some live pumping demonstrations out near our snowmaking pond. There is no charge for viewing this fun event.

You can also purchase your Season Pass, Season Rentals or Lift Ticket 3-Packs at the Main Office. Plus you can shop for that special bargain on gently used skis, snowboards, boots, clothing & helmets that someone else brought in. In this manner you can look at your deeds as helping an item lost in the land of misfit toys to find a loving home.
