LIFT HOURS & HOLIDAYS

Ski Butternut strives to open the day after Thanksgiving every year.
We always shoot to remain open through the 1st or 2nd weekend in April.
Understandably our opening as well as our daily operation is all weather dependent. Please check our Snow Conditions Report for the latest information on opening day and hours.

The Ski Areas key facilities (Lower Lodge, Rentals, Main Office, Ski Shop, Ski School Desk, Food Service) all open at least 1/2hr before key lifts start to run. Occasionally we'll have a delayed start due to weather conditions like icing, high wind, an abundance of natural snow or treacherous road conditions that make it difficult for our employees to get to work.

Arrive early and enjoy a hearty breakfast in the Lower Lodge (my favorite is the Egg & Bacon Breakfast Sandwich on a Bagel), get your rental gear early without worrying about a line, buy your lift tickets at the Ski School desk, get your skis or snowboard tuned or a Hot Wax, or enjoy casual shopping and peruse the Butternut Ski & Board Shop's impressive inventory. You can do it all early and avoid the usual 9:00 to 11:00 weekend rush.

LIFT HOURS:
8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Weekends & Holiday periods*
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Midweek (non-holiday)
10:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Christmas Day 12/25* - 4-hour Flex Pass lift ticket rates will apply on Christmas day. Guests can get up to 5.5 hours of skiing on Christmas Day for the price of a 4 hour holiday rate flex pass lift ticket. Arrive early and be ready to hit the slopes at 10:30 a.m.
4-hour Flex Pass: This is a lift ticket option that lets you purchase a 4-hour block of time to ski or snowboard at a modest discount. Your lift ticket is stamped with the time of purchase and allows you to ski/ride for 4-hours. Great for when you can only get here for just a morning or for those who arrive late and can only get a few hours time on the slopes.

TUBING CENTER HOURS: Tubing plans to open December 23, 2009 - weather permitting.
Please check our daily Conditions Report to verify that the Tubing Center is open!
10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturdays
10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. During these holiday periods (12/23 - 1/2, 1/15-16, 2/19 - 2/26/2011)
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sundays - (Note: we'll offer extended hours till 8 p.m. on 12/26, 1/16 & 2/20/2011)
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday Jan. 17, 2011
11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Christmas Day - Dec. 25, 2010
