Olympian – Doug Lewis to conduct Dryland Training!

Dryland is an integral part of alpine ski racing, so much so that we have included Dryland Training in our Tri-State race program.   The training works on specifics to enhance athletes’ balance, coordination, agility, strength, and power; all essential elements to perform well on the race course.

Dryland Training will kick off this year on Sunday, 10/7 with a full day.  We will be again offering our athletes a Fit Day which allows the athletes the ability to access race product from Rossignol, Look, Volkl, Atomic, Dalbello, Marker, Toko, and POC.  The fit day will run from 8:30 to noon.  Extra discounts on equipment will be offered on this day, so don’t miss it!  (Please note that all Ski Butternut Race Program members are invited to the Fit Day) The remainder of the day will be with Olympian Doug Lewis, Doug is returning for his 3rd year.  We will start with lunch (bring your own) from 12-1pm, followed by training from 1-5pm.  The day will conclude with a BBQ from 5-7pm.

The second day and third day of Dryland Training will be held in November / December - schedule TBD.

For Interclub athletes wishing to attend Dryland Training, we have made the 3 days available to purchase as a separate package for a cost of $175.

Deadline to sign up is Friday, September 30
