The MountainWith 22 DOWNHILL SKI TRAILS, 110 SKIABLE ACRES, 12 LIFTS (3 Quads, 4 Carpets, 240 member Professional SKI SCHOOL, and a 5-Lane TUBING CENTER you've got big mountain skiing close to home.Read below at Ski Butternut it's ALL ABOUT THE SNOW! New for Winter 2009-10: 2008-09: We've added an additional Bombardier BR350 Groomer to our grooming fleet (our corduroy should look and feel that much smarter this season). NEW larger & longer CRUISER Progression Terrain Park will make it fun for beginners interested in experiencing Terrain Park features and catching a little air. Fall 2007 - over 225% MORE SNOW - Ski Butternut installed a new state-of-the-art pump house that more than doubles our snowmaking ability. The new pumps increase the amount of water we can pump uphill to 3600 gpm (up from 1600 gpm in the past). Simply stated the more water we can push up the hill, the more snow we can make. Now Ski Butternut, already noted for great conditions, can open twice as many trails in the same amount of time as in the past. . |
