New for Winter 2009-10:
120 New Top Gun 18ft Tower Snowguns, over a mile of new air & water lines, 1200 sets of new Rossignol Skis and 300 Burton LTR snowboards, 3200 boots, new drying racks in rentals, revamped rental building with a new flow for faster delivery, Reservations now being accepted for SKIwee, Adventurer and miniRIDER programs, new Tubing Park Groomer will expand our tubing operation from 5 to 8 lanes.

2008-09:
3 New Magic Carpets will offer 1st timers and our kids programs an easy way to access the appropriate beginner terrain to enhance their learning experience.
MORE SNOW - the result of miles of new air and water lines installed on the mountain. The new lines increase the volume of water & air we move up the mountain. Plus, 30 more HKD 30ft Tower Snowguns and many more Snowmaking Nozzles offer more firepower, which increases coverage density.

We've added an additional Bombardier BR350 Groomer to our grooming fleet (our corduroy should look and feel that much smarter this season). NEW larger & longer CRUISER Progression Terrain Park will make it fun for beginners interested in experiencing Terrain Park features and catching a little air.

Fall 2007 - over 225% MORE SNOW - Ski Butternut installed a new state-of-the-art pump house that more than doubles our snowmaking ability. The new pumps increase the amount of water we can pump uphill to 3600 gpm (up from 1600 gpm in the past). Simply stated the more water we can push up the hill, the more snow we can make. Now Ski Butternut, already noted for great conditions, can open twice as many trails in the same amount of time as in the past.
