Description

Be an integral member of a friendly, outgoing crew -- join the Rental Shop team. You’ll become a certified Rossignol ski technician and get to test out the latest skis by taking frequent ski breaks.  You’ll also have an opportunity to learn top-notch tuning techniques from an expert staff while getting familiar with the overall operation.  The position involves on-going guest contact by helping them get outfitted with ski rental equipment and explaining its safe use, as well as collecting/restocking returned equipment and testing/maintaining all equipment.

Requirements

  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, withstand frequent up-and-down/ twisting/repetitive movements and reach with hands/arms to handle objects, tools or controls
  • Must be 14 years of age
  • Outstanding communication and guest service skills
  • Able to multi-task and work well in a team-oriented environment; able to work efficiently, accurately and with limited supervision
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proactive guest and employee problem resolution with urgency, respect and empathy
  • Clean residence thoroughly
  • Turn in all lost and found items, properly tagged, to the Main Office at the end of scheduled shift
  • Ensure when leaving residence, all doors and windows are closed and locked, thermostats set @ 60 degrees in the summer and 68 degrees in the winter and  fire place flues are closed
  • All keys will be checked in and out on a daily basis
  • Stock residence with appropriate supplies as specified by company standards
  • Complete all assigned services by timeframes established by department
  • Respond to guest needs in an appropriate, professional, courteous manner
  • Report any items requiring replacement and or repair, or any damage to Operations Manager
  • Assist in maintaining all specified rooms in all facilities neat and orderly by putting away all supplies throughout and at the end of scheduled shift
  • Ensure safety procedures, in accordance with safety training guidelines, are followed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
