About the Shop
The Ski & Board Shop at Ski Butternut has everything you need to get ready for winter, with a thoughtfully selected mix of trusted brands, mountain essentials and Butternut favorites. Shop skis, snowboards, boots and bindings alongside technical outerwear, base layers, helmets, goggles, gloves and more.
You’ll also find sunglasses, hats, travel gear and Ski Butternut apparel and accessories, plus plenty of great finds for gifting. Whether you’re gearing up for the season, refreshing your winter wardrobe or looking for something special for the skier or rider on your list, stop in and see what’s new.

Skis: Demo the latest high-performance skis before you buy
Demos skis are available at the slopeside demo tent near the Lower Lodge. You must bring your own boots & poles. Your demo fee (up to $80) will be credited toward the purchase of new (current season) skis if you buy from the Butternut Ski and Board Shop within 10 days. A lift ticket or season pass is required to demo skis. Demo sign-up must be completed by 12 PM on the day of the demo. Demo skis will be available on a first come, first-served basis. Demo skis are available Thursday through Monday, every day over Christmas week (except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day), and MLK and Presidents week holiday periods. Demos skies are available starting in late December and continuing through early March (conditions permitting).

Boots: Get fit right with an appointment!
One-hour boot fitting appointments are available from 9 AM to 3 PM and cost $45 per hour. Please call 413-528-2000 x273 or visit the shop to schedule an appointment.If you purchase boots, footbeds, or other custom work from our shop within 10 days of your appointment, the $45 fee will be credited toward your purchase. Restrictions apply.
Please wear thin, clean socks to your appointment to ensure the best fit. Sock and footbed options can be discussed at the time of your appointment. Please be on time for your appointment. Anyone arriving 15 minutes past the start of an appointment will forfeit the appointment and be charged the full price.

Return Policy
- To refund or exchange merchandise, it must be returned within 10 days & be accompanied with the original receipt.
- Merchandise must be un-used, with original tags in place, and have original packaging.
- Refund will be given in the manner in which it was paid.
- Facemasks, neck warmers, goggles, helmets & hoods (items that go over the face) are NOT RETURNABLE.
- All clearance/sale items are final sale.
- Per our Enhanced Safety Procedures Policy, no outside equipment or gear is to be brought into the Shop
