We are excited to announce the installation of a new state-of-the-art Skytrac lift, set to replace the Overbrook Triple Chair for the 2025-2026 ski season. The new lift will be called “Jane’s Quad” to pay homage to Jane Murdock, who passed away last winter at age 88. Jane opened the ski area with her husband Channing in 1963. She loved the outdoors, was an avid skier, and a dedicated ski area operator.

Jane’s Quad, designed and manufactured by Skytrac, will significantly improve skier and rider access to the Uptown, Freewheeler, and Downspout trails. The new top terminal will be located above the location of existing Overbrook terminal to eliminate the uphill section of Uptown. The lift has a 3633 foot horizontal length and 757 foot vertical rise. Known for its advanced safety features, reliability, and efficiency, the Skytrac lift will provide a smoother ride and allow visitors to spend more time enjoying the slopes.

Jane’s Quad will feature a four-person chair design with improved loading and unloading areas, ensuring accessibility for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The new lift will have fifteen towers and 125 carriers.  The carriers for the chair will also feature footrests and comfortable seat pads to maximize guest comfort.

The site preparation for the new lift was completed in the fall of 2024.  Construction is set to commence in the spring, with the lift ready to operate for the start of the 2025-2026 winter season. This multi-million-dollar upgrade reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the mountain experience for our loyal guests.
