Description
This position is responsible for general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings and grounds. This is a full-time year-round position and includes benefits such as health insurance, and paid vacation.This position requires hand-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair tasks, some of which may occasionally require working in inclement weather. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidates’ talents.
Job Duties
- Familiarity with multiple disciplines including basic knowledge of building maintenance: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural components. Basic carpentry skills.
- Perform tasks including painting, cleaning facilities, and managing maintenance repairs.
- Perform repairs on company buildings, machinery, equipment, or appliances. Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
- Regularly check community spaces to identify issues with litter, mechanical failure, or breakdowns. Oversee trash containers on the company premises.
- Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks. Provide janitorial/sanitary services in our restrooms. Provide lawn care/landscaping services in our outdoor areas.
Requirements
A strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
Ability to lift at least 50lbs and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain and comply with sanitization standards set by the state of Massachusetts.
This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for skiing/riding and the mountain environment. Wages will commensurate with experience.
