Reports To: Lift Operations Supervisor

Position Summary

The Tubing Center Supervisor leads the daily operation of Ski Butternut's Tubing Center, creating a safe, fun and memorable experience for every guest. This position provides hands-on leadership, promotes exceptional customer service, develops an engaged team and ensures all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. This is a seasonal, full-time position from mid-November through the end of March.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leadership

  • Lead, motivate and develop tubing employees.
  • Create a positive, energetic and respectful work environment.
  • Train staff on customer service, safety and operating procedures.
  • Conduct daily team meetings and communicate expectations.

Guest Service

  • Deliver exceptional guest service and create a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Work with other departments to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Safety & Operations

  • Maintain safety as the highest priority for guests and employees.
  • Monitor tubing lanes, loading and unloading areas, conveyor operations and guest behavior.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment and report maintenance needs.
  • Respond to incidents, changing weather and operational issues.
  • Complete incident documentation and ensure policy compliance.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tubing facility.
  • Monitor equipment and operational supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with other Ski Butternut departments.

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Customer service, hospitality, recreation or ski industry experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings and school vacation periods.

Physical Requirements

  • Work outdoors in winter weather conditions.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active duties.
