We have the right equipment for the job, from full-on race tunes with beveled edges and structures, to simple hot waxes and base repairs. Offering a truly unprecedented level of service, this is the shop to service your skis or snowboard in Berkshire County. NOTE: All used equipment is subject to evaluation for safety prior to service. Work on certain skis, snowboards, bindings or boot combinations maybe refused as unsafe. Please note if the mountain is closed due to weather the Tuning and Repair Shop will also be closed.

Weekly Ski/Snowboard Maintenance Program

Weekly tuning at the Butternut Repair and Tuning Center. A great way to keep your equipment performing at its best, and no loading and unloading your car every week! When you’ve had enough fun for the day leave your equipment with us and the next time you hit the slopes it will be waxed, sharpened (at your request), and ready to go.

  • $295.00 per ski/snowboard for the season. The program begins December 15th and ends when Butternut closes in the spring. The rate is the same no matter when you choose to begin or end the program, or when Mother Nature decides to do so (there will be no prorating).
  • Drop your skis/snowboard off after you’re finished for the day (no in and out service throughout the day). Pick them up the next time you return. No boots, poles or other equipment/gear, please.
  • Once a week bases will be waxed. Edges will be sharpened at your request. (If you choose not to leave your equipment on any given week you will forfeit that week’s tune-up.)
  • Any other repair or tuning services will be charged at the regular rate.
  • We will not accept equipment before December 15th, and all equipment must be picked up by April 1st.  Pick-ups after the area closes for the season will be by appointment only. If equipment is left after April 30th, it will be done so at your risk.
