Mar. 17, 2008 MARCH MADNESS - $20 LIFT TICKETS
EVERY DAY right through the end of the season (including weekends). So come out and enjoy Spring Skiing with Deep Snow, Lots of Sunshine, warming temperatures, fewer people, and a season that should run through the 1st or 2nd weekend of April. All for the low cost of a $20 Lift Ticket.
April 6, 2008 (Sun.) - FINAL COUNTDOWN RAIL JAM - To be held in the Twisted Terrain Park provided we are open April 6.
Comp open to both skiers & snowboarders.
Competition will take place on the TWISTED Terrain Park.
Entry Fee $20 OPEN class or $15 for 12 & Under category.
OPEN Class is competing for a CASH Purse.
12 & Under for prizes.
To compete you need to bring the following: Entry Form & Release of Liability (signed by a parent if under 18) to the registration table in the Lower Lodge. You also need to have in your possession a Ski Butternut Terrain Park Pass + valid Lift Ticket or Season Pass. Lift Tickets are only $20. All entry fees must be paid in cash.
April 22-23-24, 2008 - LMS (Lift Maintenance Seminar)
A private gathering for Ski Industry personnel - Ski Area management teams, lift mechanics & snowmakers meet for 3 days at Ski Butternut with the idea of improving the industry and their individual areas through the fundamental belief of "Learning through Shared Knowledge". July 6 - 7- 8, 2007 - The 6th Annual Berkshire Arts Festival.
The Berkshires Arts Festival hosts a wide range of fine art and crafts that will be on sale in a variety of styles from classic to contemporary; functional to fanciful, and all on display in a lush summer setting.
All 175 artists are jury selected. Live demonstrations, live music and entertainment, gourmet food and activities for children. The show is held rain or shine under tents outdoors as well as in the airconditioned Upper Lodge.
This year's highlights include the new Adirondack Style Tent – featuring superbly refined rustic furnishings by many of the top masters of the Adirondack Style. Meet Bim Willow author of Making Gypsy Willow Furniture. His daily workshops and classes are a must see as he first builds his pieces then offers the opportunity for you to build your own.

The Berkshires Arts Festival has become the highlight for many locals over the July 4th holiday. Fast becoming a Berkshire tradition attracting thousands of art lovers who flock to the Berkshires for theater, dance, music and art.
Producers Richard and Joanna Rothbard are the owners of An American Craftsmen galleries in Manhattan and Stockbridge MA. and the producers of many fine art fairs. Richard is an accomplished craftsman working in wood. His amazing as well as intriguing puzzle boxes, which he refers to as Boxology, will also be on display.

Oct. 6-7-8 SKI & SNOWBOARD GEAR & CLOTHING SWAP A SWAP is a place to BUY or SELL your used equipment. Expert instructors will staff our SWAP to help sell your gear. This year, in addition to Skis, Snowboards, Boots, Binding, and Poles we will also be accepting quality Ski or Snowboard Clothing and Helmets. (Good Condition only please). 20% of SWAP proceeds go to the Adaptive program. That means that 20% of what your gear sells for goes to the Adaptive program. You will receive a check for 80% of anything of yours that sells about 2 weeks after the sale.
SWAP volunteers will accept equipment:
Friday Oct. 5th (4 pm to 7 pm) &
Sat. Oct. 6 (10 am to noon)
Unsold gear must be picked up by 4 pm Monday, Oct 8th.
Any unsold equipment or clothing left after 4 p.m Monday will be donated to charity.

Jan. 13, 2008 - The Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge Race Series comes to Ski Butternut. This is a free, fun race open to all ages and abilities. Bring your friends, bring your family and join in the fun and the excitement of this race series. Do The Dew! Valid Lift ticket required. Goggles & Helmets suggested. Registration in the Upper Lodge from 8:00 to 10:00.

A Terrain Park Competition open to Skiers & Snowboarders. NOTE All contestants (including 12 & Under) will be competing in the TWISTED Terrain Park.
Entry Fee: $25 Pro/Open, & $15 all other categories.

Feb. 13, 2008 (Wed) 70+ Ski Club RACE - Coming Back Next Winter! Anyone age 70 years and over can participate, you just have to join the club. Club fee is about $10 for the year. Registration opens around 9:30 in the lower lodge, Race Starts at 11:00 on the Main Street Race Hill.
